One of the most important thing that we felt missing from the iPhone was the flash. Why Apple didn’t include that is still a mystery (heard many stories but none made any real sense). And all this long we questioned why Adobe is sitting there quietly. Don’t they think this is a big enough market for them to jump straight into it? Obviously it’s understandable that Apple didn’t approach them in the first place but Adobe can always make the first move! Steve Jobs may say NO but until unless you’ve some sort of prototype running it’s always hard to convince anyone for anything.

Anyway, looks like our wait is finally over. Adobe has finally heard the raising voice of all the iPhone owners from all over the world and decided to develop flash for iPhone platform. Adobe confirmed yesterday that they’re developing the Flash player for the iPhone. Apparently Adobe already has Flash running on the iPhone emulator. So looks like it’s just matter of days(?) before the Flash comes to iPhone. Obviously the final decision will be made by the BIG BROTHER. But I am happy that Adobe at least took the initiatives to take it to the next step. Now, let’s just wait and see what happens next and whether we get to run Flash on our iPhone soon or not. Fingers crossed everyone!
