DataCase lets you to view Documents (Microsoft Office, PDF, Text, HTML), Audio, Video, Photos and share files between your iPhone, iPod Touch and any PC in the simplest way possible. Just drag and drop your files from any computer and you’re all set. The app works with any computer (Mac, PC, Linux) that has wireless capabilities or is connected to a wireless network.

You can create multiple volumes to separate your data. You can also set read, write, and browse permissions for each volume, or even make it invisible to anyone but you.

Couple of minor issues; Audio and Video playback is limited to formats that are supported by iPhone OS. XML based office documents have to be exported to PDF or legacy compatibility document format to view. Uploaded files can’t be emailed as an attachment.

This is a sort of application that a user wants from the moment they get their hands on an iPhone or iPod Touch. It’s very user friendly, uploading and downloading files works seemlessly. If you can work around those minor issues then this is a must application to have.
