Competition Announcement
Now that T-mobile’s G1, the first smartphone based on Google’s open-source mobile operating system Android is officially out in the market, I am sure few of you are curious (well, I was) to know how it performs next to an iPhone or rather iPhone 3G. It is still too early to do an aggresive comparison bewtween the two. So I guess any sort of test at this stage would be merely a curiousity test rather than a comparison/competition test. That’s exactly what the guys at CNet news had tried to achieve by this 3G test between this two talk of the town devices.
Remember, both devices use their own web browser which may work completely differently, so that may have an impact on the result. Also as you know 3G performance depends on many different factors, so result may vary for that too. Anyway, let’s have a look at the video to see how they perform.
