Apple recently released the 2.2 firmware beta 2 to the tester. Soon after the beta version went on to the hands of testers, dev team was quickly onto it to test whether Apple has tried to block all the loopholes in this version or not. And their test outcome was satisfactory. Jailbreaking or unlocking the latest & upcoming firmware is as simple as jailbreaking any of the previous firmwares.

The second beta of firmware version 2.2 has been out for a few days.  It looks like Apple still doesn’t have a fix for devices already prone to the pwnage jailbreak and unlock.

I won’t wait for a moment to upgrade to the latest firmware to test the latest features such as, Google Street View & Podcast download applications. And as you can see, we don’t have to wait for long after the official firmware comes out. Just upgrade your iPhone to the latest firmware as soon as it is released and have a good night sleep. And wake up in the next morning to see the Pwnage tool is ready for you jailbreak or unlock your iPhone.
