Thinking of updating your iPhone to upcoming 2.2 firmware, nickname “TImberline” and worried that you may have to wait for few days before the unlock/jailbreak procedure is ready? Don’t worry at all and update to the latest firmware as soon as that comes out. Because even before Apple released the iPhone 2.2 firmware, the Dev team has already make their mark on the Beta version. They’ve already proven that Firmware 2.2 is vulnerable to pwnage and quickpwn. So it’s just matter of Apple releasing the firmware and Dev Team jailbreaking it :). They’ve demonstrated that the latest firmware is vulnerable by running a third party application on the Beta version.  Here’s a screenshot:
