iPhone FW 2.2.1 is out. Are you updating?
Apple released another update to the iPhone Firmware which is now available through iTunes. But don’t get too excited by the news because the new update hasn’t included any of the features that you may be hoping for like copy/paste. Instead it looks like just a routine update with some bug fixes. Still, just in case if you’re thinking of updating then think twice. Because if you’ve recently used yellowsn0w to unlock your iPhone 3G then you’ll definitely loose that and will be stuck with your previous provider.
So if you like the freedom of using any SIM card then don’t update until the dev team get the yellowsn0w working for the new firmware.

if i am unlocked through optus by phoning them is that ok to jailbreak firmware 2.2.1 without any problem? cus i am not using yellow snow?
