Bringing Up iPod Control While on Another Application

If you’re listening to musc and working on another application and want to change music without leaving that application, then just double click on the Home button and the iPod control will appear.

I have a 3g iphone that i have jailbroken. I used the latest quickpwn and firmware to suit. Problem is now i have no service. can somebody please help me out with the problem?
The phone was brand new and never activated, so i have this great looking new toy that is useless to me.. haha, sux huh!! PLEASE HELP, its doing my head in.

I'm a T Mobile Customer...Currently I have the old T Mobile PDA (HTC MDA). I would like to purchase a new phone but I'm not crazy about alny of the phones offered by T Mobile. What I really want is a iPhone; but I am not very knowledgable on the un-locking and jailbreaking trick suggested on the forums...Can I get some help on understanding this?
