Restarting and Shutting Down an iPhone
To shut down just press and hold the power button on the top right hand corner and you’ll see a slider at the top of the screen. Slide it to the right to shut down or power off your iPhone.
To restart, press and hold both the power button and the home button for few seconds until you see the black screen with the Apple logo. Let go of the power and home button and wait for the iPhone to be restarted.
