Taking Screenshot of iPhone/iPod Touch

Hold down the ‘Home’ button and press the ‘On/Off’ button at the same. Your iPhone / iPod Touch screen will flash once and the image will be taken. The image of the screen will be stored in the Photos folder.

I have a 3g iphone that i have jailbroken. I used the latest quickpwn and firmware to suit. Problem is now i have no service. can somebody please help me out with the problem?
The phone was brand new and never activated, so i have this great looking new toy that is useless to me.. haha, sux huh!! PLEASE HELP, its doing my head in.

I'm a T Mobile Customer...Currently I have the old T Mobile PDA (HTC MDA). I would like to purchase a new phone but I'm not crazy about alny of the phones offered by T Mobile. What I really want is a iPhone; but I am not very knowledgable on the un-locking and jailbreaking trick suggested on the forums...Can I get some help on understanding this?
