First of all sorry for the short break. We were away hence couldn’t keep you up to date for last few days.

Now, if you were just happy with the QuickPwn and PwnageTool to jailbreak & unlock your iPhone then this news will be a bonus for you. One of the dev team members has just ported Linux 2.6 kernel to iPhone. Pretty amazing and interesting if you ask me. Even though it is still at its beginning stage and many drivers are still missing, it’s work in progress and I am sure it won’t be long before we see the final version of it.

If you’re curious to try it out then you can do so now. Just download the files from here and also download installation guide from here. Follow the steps carefully and you’ll be able to have the taste of running Linux on your iPhone. Here’s the video demonstration of linux running on iPhone.
