Wouldn’t it be nice to find things around quite easily where you hardly know the place? I guess the answer is obvious. I am sure we all were in a situation when finding a cafe around seemed like a daunting task. Don’t worry those days are over with the help of the latest technology. And here’s another addition to that, Locly.

Locly is an iPhone app that allows you to find local attractions, cafes and shops near by you, by making use of the built in GPS of your iPhone 3G. With Locly you can also look at local photos from Flickr, and pull up Twitter or Wikipedia entries that are close to where you are now. Locly is reported to work in many countries throughout the world, including Australia.

I know it’s not the greatest app but it does the job and it is FREE. So what else can you ask for? Just download it from App Store and try it yourself. Oh, I just searched for Pizza around my place and I am feeling hungry now. I’ll be back in a jiffy everyone :).
