If you thought you’ve got everything you need for your iPhone or iPod then you may want to think again. I mean, you don’t have to re-think but this device is such that it will turn your head. And you never know what happens next!

This sleek little device from Myvu is an eye wear that lets you watch videos from your iPhone or iPods without the need of a big screen or without holding your iPhone on your hand. Best if you’re travelling; just lay back and let the movie rolling.

This light weighted device has a 640×480 video display and its see through optics allows you to see objects in front of you; just in case if you wanted to watch a movie and walk around the neighborhood to make yourself look “Cool” :) . The device comes in two different optics. One is amber and another one is black. The black optics filters out external light and the amber one does exactly the opposite, allows more light.

I haven’t gotten one for myself though I am really tempted to have one because according to people who’ve reviewed & tested the device, it seems impressive.

One major drawback of this device is that your iPhone has to be in Airplane when you use it with your iPhone. Which means you won’t be able to receive any calls or even emails while you’re watching movies on your iPhone. If you think that’s not a major problem for you and you can also afford the $300 USD price tag then you may want to give it a go.
