One Step Closer to Unlocking iPhone 3G
Well, we all know that Dev team is working really hard to find a solution to unlock iPhone 3G. Unlocking first generation iPhone was and still is quite easy but Dev team is still trying to unlock the second generation iPhone or iPhone 3G, which has a different baseband all together. And it looks like the Dev team is getting closer day by day. An exploit over the weekend finally penetrated the 3G baseband which means a solution might be waiting just around the corner. So fingers crossed. While testing with an exploit the dev team discovered the following error. As a programmer myself, I can tell you that’s a good news
.
The Dev Team haven’t come up with the iPhone 3G Unlocking solution yet but it wouldn’t too long before they do and like everyone else, I can’t wait for that.

I don't what it's like in the USA, but here in the UK the contract plans for the 3G are extremely reasonable. The 1st gen iPhone contracts were a rip-off but now you can get about 600 minutes and texts with unlimited browsing for the equivalent of about $60/month, I no longer have any wish to unlock my iPhone!
