But now thanks to Truphone, you can turn your iPod Touch into a phone easily as long you have Wi-Fi connection and a headphone.

Like other voip phone services you can make free calls to other Truephone users and to the users of the Google Talk instant messaging service. The app is Free and available from App Store.

  • A free download of Truphone for iPod touch
  • A headset and microphone like those for the iPhone. These may be bought at high street electronics retailers or from an Apple Store
